In the top pic you can see the funny car cage, the
computer mount is on the left. The tab on the FC
cage is for the fire bottle trigger. The guys at
Powder Coating Solutions did a fantastic job on
the car. Pics don't do it any justice. Below shows
the tinwork goin in to stay, more little screws,
not so hard to reach places. We use 4/40 stainless
button head screws everywhere possible, the
only places we use rivets are where it fastens to
the tubing, no rivets are used anywhere else. I
have the scars to prove it. The protective cover is
peeled away from the seams before they are put
together. Its impossible to remove after. You can
also see the actual color of the aluminum. Once
it is all assembled I will tape off the gaps in the
cover to keep out overspray from the painting
process.
