Time to put in a door handle. When
its time to start fitting windows,
the outer door handles must be in
and functioning. You won't be able
to get to the inner handles to open
the door, effectively locking
yourself out
We use a lot of tape to protect
things, it takes a couple minutes
to tape something off, it takes
longer to fix a scratch or gouge!
Getting the handle in isn't the hard
part. The basket that retains the
handle must be installed, and the
linkage built. The photo above
shows the inside of the door. Its a
tight fit and you can't see what
you are doing. The latch assembly
is on the left, neither the basket
or linkage are in. If ya look below
all this stuff is in the upper corner
of the door and those slots are
the only way in!
