Cut off the excess just outside the
cut line, then bevel grind it to the
line, the short side of the bevel
goes in. This will allow the
window to bottom out in the
opnening
Stick the window back in the hole,
it should almost fit. The rest of the
final fitting is done on the car. I
almost always do the windows
after the car is painted and have
seldom scratched them. I take the
risk because I'm an over-confident
a$$ errr, because I get a tighter fit.
This is how the final fit is
achieved, hold the window out
and lightly grind it in. You
shouldn't have to remove very
much to get it in.
(Normally I use my other hand to
hold the window out, but I was by
myself today so I had to
demonstrate with one hand, and
take the pic with the other.)
