Window Braces are done, installed
and forgotten about. The rear
window is left out until everything
else is done, the tubs are just
below the window, making it very
hard to do anything back there.
The rear end is
ready to install,
The third member
and 40 spline gun
drilled axles are
both from Mosier.
We use Aerospace
rear brakes.
My day was spent getting the doors
FINISHED! I installed the windows, rear
door braces, inner door handles, limit
straps and finally the door panels. Notice
where all that stuff is located,, remember
the outer door handles? My arms got
some more scratches today, cause I was
back in the same places today.
I didn't realize
the lens was
that dirty.
Anyhow, here's
your first shot at
what the
aluminum looks
like. The
steprolls are
bi-level, meaning
one part is
pushed up the
other part is
pushed down.
The door panels
are screwed on,,
no poop rivets, if
there is a
problem in the
door they can be
easily removed
and replaced!
Here is the
completed
drivers door.
With both of
them now
finished I put
them out of
harms way
and now I can
finish the
tunnel, the last
of the tinwork.
Vanilla Matt's
10.5 Camaro is
in the
background.
Its getting an
update and a
new
windshield.
Yippee!!
