This is our GTO, it was
built last winter as a
Spec car, we sold it to
Ronnie Duke, and
Hardcore Motorsports.
It was recently in
Pontiac Enthusiast
Magazine. We were not
mentioned, kinda
pissed me off.
Man this car was long!
115" wheelbase, 90"
wheelie bars, it 24' long
fully assembled. This
body style doesn't look
distorted by the stretch
though.
Great stance as well. I
do think we should
have removed the lip
around the bottom of
the bumper, it doesn't
match the rest of the
car. We actually had
quite a few GTO factory
parts on this project.
The headlights,
taillights and the
outside door handles.
Usually we use the
taillight lenses and the
door handles, the
headlights are
airbrushed.
Check out the crazy
lexan wing,, I've never
seen one before, its
cool as hell! From
certain angles it looks
black, from another like
chrome, and when up
close its transparent.
The wing covers a lot
of nifty stuff, but not
this one.
This car was built
with double
framerails, for use
as an NHRA
Pro/Mod. It was
setup with a
handbrake, clutch
and a universal
tranny mount. Also
visible are the dual
firebottles.
