This page is dedicated to
some things I have done
that are not related to
racing. The big hairy thing
isn't me, that is a 6 foot 2
inch trophy "Queen" made
out of an old gorilla costume.
Todd Silvey from Drag News
Magazine came up with the
Idea, and I used everything
from my daughters shoes,
bent wheelie bars, some
sheet metal and a pair of
casters to make it. He also
serves as a lightweight
dolly. He also got more
coverage in the magazine
than any car I've built. Can
ya smell the irony in the air?
The skull is
something I did just
to see if I could, I
don't know what to
do with it so for now
its a display item,,
but since I know I
can do it, its now in a
car. Its in the filler
panel between the
dash and the base of
the windshield.
Here's the latest
skull, this clock I did
for my daughters
birthday present. I
have done a couple
"girlie" clocks for
Mom and the Wifey
that have flowers
and such on them. I
asked my kid if thats
what she wanted
and she said "I want
a skull with flames
and its tongue
hangin out!" There it
is!
Yet another skull!!!
This one I did as a
donation to support
the
Hamb,
I know, Its just another dragster!!
This dash was for Todd Silvey of
Drag News
Magazine, Note how the gauges are pushed
out. Cool trick!!!

That, in case you are wondering, is "Frankie".
Chris's  brother-in-law John had this rusty old
Chevy 4X4 that was rusted so bad the cab
digging holes in the bell housing. A trip to the
junkyard found no good truck bodies. The Buick
body is almost the same dimensions as the
truck. After a couple hours of goading and
promises of "All the  help you need" we drug it
to the shop. We never helped him, at all. We told
him how and he did it, from mounting the body ,
bending up the cage and welding it all up. John
hadn't ever built a cage or welded and had no
sheet metal experience. Its not perfect but it
looks ummm, well,,, bizarre. It looks even
stranger in motion
